Spring! Warmer weather, budding flowers, sunshine! Spring is happy. And happy is how I would describe this engagement session! Spring engagement sessions are currently my favorite. Especially because I have such amazing couples this year!! Like Alex and Tim.
Alex is graduating with a nursing degree, and just accepted a position at Children’s Hospital. Tim is a criminal justice major, with big dreams in law enforcement. They’re basically a real life TV show! Nurse, plus cop, equals true love! Also, nurse, plus cop, equals good people. Like real life, every day heroes.
Together is My Favorite Place to Be
Alex saw Tim across the room during Freshman orientation at SLU, almost 4 years ago. They ended up talking for hours and hours…connecting over their love of sports and Mexican food! She was a runner, and he’s a rugby player. They loved spending time working out together, and then watching Netflix and relaxing, together. That saying, “together is my favorite place to be” is exactly how they feel. They found their happy in each other. They were all in, and forever was their future.
A wedding date was set. The venue and photographer (me!!) booked. And THEN, Tim proposed! THIS is why I love what I do. Every love story is so different, and so unique, and so perfect to each couple I meet. And after spending a warm spring evening with these two, their love story just makes sense! Because it’s theirs. And it’s perfect!
I say this after every engagement session, and 100 more times between then and the wedding, but I cannot wait to be a part of Alex and Tim’s big day! A spring engagement session, and a fall wedding, that’s pretty perfect if you ask me! And throw in a really amazing couple, who also happen to be ridiculously good looking, and it’s going to be perfection. I also can’t wait to see what the future brings for these two almost graduates! I have no doubt, it will be bright, and full of happiness!
