Missouri weather sure is confused. One minute it feels like spring, the next minute is snowing! Luckily, Queeny Park makes any season look good. Even with confused weather. And then there’s this adorable couple and their cuter than cute puppy, Ruthie! I’m not really an animal person, but Ruthie stole my heart. In all her soft, fluffy, cuddly adorableness.
Chelsey is an extremely talented photographer. I first came across her Instagram account over a year ago, and immediately fell in love with her work. I then Insta-stocked her and ended up emailing her asking her if she happened to need a second shooter for any upcoming weddings. When I got an email back, telling me she’d love to meet and see if we hit if off, I was ecstatic! I really thought the chances of getting that email were slim to none!
Not only did we hit it off, we’ve become fast friends. And I’ve been able to work with her a lot. I’ll never forget that first wedding I shot with her. (See more HERE) She’s basically the reason I’m where I am today. I will forever be grateful for her kind soul, who took a chance on the crazy mom from a small town, with a big dream.
And then there’s Chelsey’s sweet husband Dustin. Dang, they’re a good looking couple! Being married to a photographer is no joke. The other half of photographers tend to get roped into all kinds of photography related things! Usually more photo shoots than any man really wants to be a part of. And lots of carrying things. Dustin is so supportive, and such a good sport. Ladies, find a man that will do a full blow photo shoot with your new puppy. He’s a keeper.
Which brings me to the puppy. I mean the pictures pretty much speak for themselves, but Ruthie is SO stinking cute. First of all, her name is Ruthie. I mean CUTE! And her puppy momma knows how to accessorize! Her collar and leash were perfection. And they went perfectly with Chelsey’s Louboutins. It’s all in the details people. And those shoes are the queen of perfect details! All the heart eyes for those pretty red soles!
Needless to say, I had a blast with this trio! Cute couple plus cute dog, always a winning combination! I’m so grateful that, in pursuing my dream, I’ve found such amazing new friends along the way. As hard as it is to see sometimes, there is still SO much good in this world!
