We did it! We made it through January! And now it’s time to think about the one you love. Yup, in just 14 short days, the holiday dedicated to all things love will be here. Are you ready? I mean aside from raiding the Target Valentine’s Day aisle! 😉 Because I have a challenge for […]

Neutral wedding colors. If there were love languages for photographers, neutral wedding colors would be one of them. What a way to end my 2018 wedding season. If there was ever a day for a wedding in the country, it’d be Samantha and Austin’s fall wedding at Heartland Farms. Country farm wedding venues were made for fall. And it was the most perfect day from start to finish. Perfect fall temperatures, a slight fall breeze, fall colors all over the trees, and a perfect couple starting their forever together.
Samantha and Austin have known each other since they were kids. (Catch up on their love story HERE). They’re so sweet together, and so caring towards everyone around them. Samantha left no detail forgotten. And no ONE forgotten. She even gave ME the SWEETEST thank you gift before she was even done with hair and makeup! As they’d say in the south, Samantha and Austin are good people!
Seeing a wedding day unfold is so much fun to witness. Even more fun is hearing about all the little things that went into making the big day happen. How Samantha fell in love with the first wedding dress she tried on. How she created most of the details herself. The tiara that Samantha wore, her grandmother had worn years ago on her own wedding day. The shoes Samantha wore, were her most favorite pink flats, well used and loved. Her sweet uncle sang the same song he sang at Samantha’s parents wedding, years ago. So much love was infused into the entire day, and it added up to perfection!
Samantha and Austin, I hope your marriage grows and grows. I hope one day you have a daughter that can wear the same tiara when she gets married. I hope you never forget this perfect day. And when times are hard, you remember this love you have for each other. Hold on to it, and you’ll have the most wonderful life!
