There’s just something about fall. The changing colors, the crisp air, all the apples and pumpkin spice! Sweaters, flannels and boots. Fall is magical, in my opinion. It’s definitely my favorite time of year. Which is why, when I discovered Lost Hill Lake Events, I knew it would be the PERFECT location for a Fall Wedding Styled Shoot.
I met Sam, who runs Lost Hill Lake Events, at the end of the summer. I fell in love with their venue, and all the possibilities! We quickly determined a fall styled shoot had to happen! So I went to work putting together a team of fabulous vendors.
I am a BIG believer in community over competition. The wedding industry can be completive, discouraging, and down right hard. But when creatives can come together, instead of judging or competing, that’s when the magic happens. That’s when real relationships form, and a support system is born.
When I started contacting vendors for this little vision of mine, I was blown away with the excitement and willingness I was met with! From the dress and suit, to the hair and makeup, flowers, desserts and invitations…boy, did everyone deliver. Our models met for the first time the day of our shoot, and knocked it out of the park! And they were SO much fun to work with! I think it’s safe to say, we all had a blast! And I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
