High school sweethearts. *sigh* High school sweetheart love stories are always among my favorite love stories. There’s just something about young love that makes it. I feel like I’m hearing less and less of these romantic tales. But this one is special.
Joslyn and Steven met right before their senior year of high school. She liked him immediately. He really didn’t give her the time of day. But she didn’t give up. And eventually Cardinals tickets won him over. Cute girl, plus really good seats, how could he say no?! It sure is a good thing he didn’t. Because these two are adorable.
After graduating high school, they both went their separate ways. College. LDS missions. But they talked or wrote as often as possible. Their love was building on a solid foundation of respect and friendship, and good old fashioned getting to know each other. Somewhere along this journey, they fell in love. Oh, are they in love! And now they’re engaged and planning a summer wedding. *Eeek!!*
We spent an evening together walking through Missouri’s version of forests, and eating up every last minute of the dreamiest light. Joslyn and Steven never stopped holding hands or smiling. Their smiles are just about the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. Guys, I loved every minute with you! I have a good feeling about you two! 🙂
