A Bridgerton-Inspired Garden Wedding

Kacey and Ben’s Bridgerton-inspired garden style wedding held at a charming venue located just outside of St. Louis, was like something straight out of a fairytale. Every opulent detail was carefully designed to create an unforgettable, romantic celebration of two incredible people.

A Romantic Garden-Inspired Vision

Their wedding was inspired by a “garden Bridgerton vibe,” and they executed it flawlessly. From an abundance of perfect pastel blooms accompanied by dramatic draping greenery to the spectacular, ornate details scattered throughout, the decor left everyone in a dream-like state. Specifically, the setting for their elegant garden-themed celebration was Main Street Abbey, a charming venue conveniently located near St. Louis. This unique venue, nestled within a converted old church, provided the perfect backdrop for their picturesque, timeless wedding.

Kacey, a talented wedding photographer in the St. Louis area herself, possesses not only remarkable talent, but also exudes grace and warmth. Basically, from the moment I arrived, Kacey and her family enveloped me with their genuine kindness. Thus, they created an atmosphere of hospitality that set the tone for this remarkable Bridgerton-inspired celebration.

Preparing for the Big Day: Cozy Bridal Preparations

Kacey prepared for her big day in a cozy on-site cottage, specially designated for bridal preparations. Undeniably, this setting added an intimate touch to the behind-the-scenes moments and set the tone for a calm, stress-free day.

An Emotional First Look

Kacey and Ben opted for a first look, and with Kacey’s meticulous planning, it was a photographer’s dream come true! The first look took place within the aisle of the ceremony space, and was nothing short of enchanting. Subsequently, the timeline unfolded seamlessly, resulting in plenty of time for such emotional and intimate moments.

Capturing Nature’s Beauty: Picturesque Pre-Wedding Photos

To capture the enchantment of the day, we chose the breathtaking Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis as the perfect romantic location for pre-wedding photos. Mother Nature graced us with an idyllic Missouri June day, with the sun casting its golden glow over every frame, enhancing the overall magic of this unforgettable day.

The Beauty of an Intimate Wedding

One of the most endearing aspects of Kacey and Ben’s wedding was their choice to keep it intimate. Intimate weddings have a unique way of evoking raw and genuine emotions, and being a part of this intimate celebration was a privilege.

Heartfelt Vows

The vows exchanged by Kacey and Ben were deeply personal and heartfelt, penned by the couple themselves. They resonated with authenticity and love.

Thoughtful Touches: Attention to Detail

Their thoughtfulness extended to every facet of their celebration. An adorable escort card setup, featuring charming keychains and a dedicated table for the vendors, showcased their attention to detail.

The room was transitioned into an immaculate display of refined elegance and dramatic florals during a lovely cocktail hour on the terrace.  While the vendor team flawlessly transformed the ceremony space into an unforgettable reception, I was simultaneously able to capture stunning sunset portraits of the bride and groom.

A Touching Moment of Gratitude

Finally, the most touching moment of the day came when Kacey’s father expressed his gratitude by mentioning me by name during the toast. Undeniably, this heartfelt gesture brought tears to my eyes and underscored the warmth and love radiating from this extraordinary family.

Kacey and Ben’s St. Louis Briderton garden-themed wedding was a dream to photograph—a celebration of love, beauty, and genuine connections. Indeed, it is moments like these that fuel my passion for capturing love stories through the lens.
