One of my favorite wedding trends lately, is bridesmaids wearing different shades of color. And, when I saw Nicole’s bridesmaids, in their different shades of mauve, it made my photographer heart skip a beat! Nicole planned, and thought out, every last detail of her Cedar Creek New Haven wedding day. And, let me tell you, she nailed it. Floral pajama sets for her girls, the sweetest gifts for her guy, love letters, a first look with dad, gorgeous bouquets…I could go on and on. It all took place at the wedding venue Cedar Creek in New Haven, Missouri, which was the perfect backdrop for her amazing color palette, and the perfect place to celebrate the beginning of the rest of her life, with her best friend.

Travis started out as “this guy” Nicole met in Chicago. It didn’t take long before he became more. Nothing makes me happier on a wedding day, than visibly being able to see the love two people have for each other. And Nicole and Travis radiated the sweetest love. And the BEST smiles. That happiness and love that anyone could see, didn’t stop with Nicole and Travis. They spread their love and gratitude to every single person that shared in their day. This is what good people are made of.
Nicole and Travis, it was an absolute joy to be a part of your special day. And even more of a joy to witness your love and kindness. Cedar Creek is located just an hour west of St Louis. It is such a beautiful, natural setting for a joyful wedding reception. It was perfect for Nicole and Travis’ August wedding, with the sun shining and blue skies.
