I believe there is so much beauty in simplicity. Sarah and Josh’s church wedding was simply beautiful. They focused on what mattered most, each other, and their love. And I have to tell you, the happiness beamed out of Sarah the entire day. O’Fallon, IL is home for Sarah, and was the perfect setting for her perfect day.
If I could describe Sarah and Josh in one word, it would be gracious. Even though this was their day, they were determined to thank every single person who came to support them. And not just thank them, but really talk to them and be in the moment with their guests. I couldn’t help but think that they truly have servant hearts. And being able to witness such gratitude made me want to do better!
Just before their ceremony, Sarah and Josh shared an intimate “hidden” first look. They didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, but wanted to share a moment, exchange letters, and offer a prayer together. It was by far one of the sweetest moments of the day. And the perfect way to start their wedding.
Sarah and Josh, thank YOU for your example, and the genuine love that is visible to all who know you. I hope you look back on this day years from now and remember it with as much happiness as I saw in the two of you the entire day. I have a feeling marriage will treat you two well, and you will find even more happiness in the journey ahead! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Miller!
