Defiance Ridge Vineyard Wedding | Carolyn and Caleb

Carolyn and Caleb had the most perfect late-spring Defiance Ridge Vineyard Wedding. Their love was so warm, you’d never know it was unseasonably chilly for Memorial Day Weekend!

It’s A Small Small World

I have been so excited for this wedding to take place. Keeping true to the old adage “it’s a small world after all,” I have known Caleb, the groom, since he was about 8 years old! And if that wasn’t enough, I have actually been friend’s with Carolyn’s (the bride) sister for 3+ years! So needless to say, this was a union I am thrilled to be a part of.

Carolyn and Caleb actually met in high school, at a summer camp! But nothing really ever came of it. Years later, Carolyn had a scheduled appointment at a dental office where Caleb worked, and the rest is history!

Elope, Then Party

Keeping with the theme of all of 2020, Carolyn and Caleb were engaged last summer and planned their big wedding for 5/28/2021, crossing their fingers that they would be able to continue with those plans. As the wedding date got closer, they decided to elope in February of 2021 with only immediate family attending. In order to celebrate with all their family and friends, they chose to keep their original wedding date for a large celebration – and I am so glad they did.

It’s All In The Details

Carolyn and Caleb’s Defiance Ridge Vineyard wedding was a truly stunning affair. The bride wore a gown by Mia Grace Bridal and her attendants wore dresses from Baltic Born and other sites. The groom and his men wore suits by Mens Wearhouse, suspenders from Amazon, and ties from a local boutique called Love Olive Boutique. Catering was done in house and the stunning cake was created by Celebrating Life Cakes Boutique. The entertainment was provided by DJ TKO, florals designed by HareandBearCo., and the whole event was capped off by a HUGE fireworks show!

It's about more than hiring someone to hold a camera and snap a few pics. Wedding photography is about capturing the joyful, bright, authentic moments of your big day in a way that beautifully tells the story of your love.

Your moments matter.
