July 12, my husband and I celebrated 13 years of marriage. Obviously that meant we NEEDED an anniversary session. Because when you’re a photographer, photo shoots are a necessity. At least that’s what we tell ourselves. Luckily, I have lots of really awesome photographer friends. And one of them had access to a 1967 convertible Mustang. As soon as she told me about this Mustang, we both knew we had to do something with it. So really, this anniversary session NEEDED to happen because of the car.
And then, one thing led to another…
And the next thing you know, 8 other photographers are involved. And magic happened.
I have to tell you, being the couple in FRONT of the camera, was quite the adjustment! But it was a BLAST! And, bonus, my skirt was perfection. Everyone really needs to find an excuse to wear a tulle skirt at least once in their life. The right outfit really can make a photo shoot so much more fun. Weird, but true.
Then add in a gorgeous flower bouquet and my husband on his guitar…epic. I fell in love with that man, while he played his guitar. So these pictures are extra special. And then, let’s not forget the car.
THE CAR.
In all it’s deep blue, convertible, glory.
Magical.
I sure love this sweet husband of mine. And I love that he never gets annoyed when I have crazy photo shoot ideas. He just smiles and says, “just tell me what to wear, and when to be there.” He’s a keeper. And I’m so lucky to have been married to him for 13 years. He’s my person.
And just for fun, and if you’re interested, check out our love story HERE. It’s a goody.
These pictures were taken by either Stephanie Marie Photography or Liberty Cameron Photography. My photog besties. They’re amazing. Check them out.
