Soft pinks, bright pinks, soft greens, bright blues. This had all the makings of the perfect spring wedding in the country. And, as if that wasn’t perfect enough, Saturday was the most beautiful spring day. All day. Not too hot, not too cold, a fresh breeze blowing, birds chirping, sun shining, trees blooming. It was the kind of perfect spring day that just begs for a country wedding.
The first thing I noticed about Christina, were her eyes. And, I’m sure this had nothing to do with it, but it was almost like the entire color scheme was planned just to bring out Christina’s eyes. And it worked. The second thing I noticed about Christina, was her quiet, soft demeanor. She is oh, so sweet. The colors she chose, were perfectly her! Bright blue bridesmaids dresses, just like her eyes. Soft pink roses, just like her. But then pops of bright pinks, that just get you, like her smile. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen colors that match the bride so perfectly. And it made the entire day, that much more beautiful.
Perfect colors, perfect weather, perfect venue, perfect country wedding.
Christina and Jory had a team of family and friends behind them to make their day perfect. I just love how weddings bring two families together even before the actual wedding day. From the decorations, to every small detail, you could see the love that these families have for the sweet couple. When you stepped into the Marthasville Legion Hall, you felt like you were stepping into an old family barn, that had been transformed into an a grand wedding hall. High ceilings, with exposed beams, that were draped with white, flowing fabric and bright, white lights. Open windows on either side, that let in the fresh spring breeze. And a floral arch that the bride’s mom and aunt constructed themselves. Once again, perfection.
It was such a wonderful day, and I feel so blessed to have been a small part of such a beautiful marriage. Christina and Jory, I hope you never forget the love that was felt Saturday. I hope you hold on to the families that love yo both so much. I am SO happy for you both, and wish you a long life filled with so much love and happiness!
