St. Louis Wedding Vendor Love | Roses and Mint

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I LOVE love stories! And being in the wedding industry, I hear some of the BEST love stories! Stories of two people, meeting, falling in love, and saying “yes” to the rest of their lives together.

But, there’s a different kind of love story, that doesn’t get told as often. The story of the people that make those wedding dreams come true. The story of how we all fell in love with our businesses. Whether it’s creating beautiful floral arrangements, designing the perfect wedding invitation, planning an epic event, baking a work of art, being THE place to get married, or beautifying a bride, we do it because we love it. And I’m here to tell those stories!

PART 1: ROSES AND MINT

Meet Roses and Mint. THE place to go for all your wedding floral needs. Their stunning warehouse/office/studio/little piece of heaven is right in the heart of St. Charles, Missouri. And inside, you’ll find a team of the most genuine, good-to-their-soul, kind, loving, boss babes. Your floral wish is their command, and they deliver every. Single. Time.

The magic that happens at Roses and Mint is a result of one thing: they LOVE what they do, and they LOVE who they do it for.

Once upon a time, 7 years ago, Kira Rose Mulvany officially launched Roses and Mint. This is her story…

THE BEGINNING OF ROSES AND MINT

“My grandmother was an avid gardener and designer. She would teach me techniques each time I visited her, using flowers from her garden. I still have some of her design books at our studio! My maiden name is Rose, so it came naturally. Our last name is Mulvany, which is clearly Irish and reminds me of all things green and minty fresh. That’s where the Mint comes in. So Roses & Mint is a nod to both my growing-up-family and my family now. Sarah was inspired by her family as well, and so many of our designers have historical ties to flowers in some shape or form.”

FALLING IN LOVE WITH FLORAL DESIGN

“I believe in marriage. And I believe in the artistry of flowers and their ability to communicate emotions. Focusing on designing flowers for weddings was an easy choice.  The joy we have both for our couples and for our art form is contagious. I’m hopeful our couples sense that joy, love, and passion every time they interact with our team and remember that experience for years to come.”

ROSES AND MINT INSPIRATION

“Our inspirations are endless. From our own relationships and love stories, to architecture and fashion design, to Jesus….we soak it all in and translate it to our work with flowers.”

THE IDEAL ROSES AND MINT CLIENT

“We are here for EVERYONE! We love love and we love celebrating all love stories with flowers. One of the things we love most about our couples? They appreciate the art of floral design, see the value in our artistry, and care about the impact fresh flowers make in their celebration. We have the best. job. ever.”

THE ROSES AND MINT BOOKING PROCESS

“Couples start at our website and fill out the check your date form. Then, we send them all the fun info. We have two experiences for wedding floral design: full service (all the bells and whistles) and a la carte (if couples just need a few pieces, which we are equally excited about!).  For our full service couples, an in-studio get-together comes next followed by a beautiful design proposal. They say YES, we cheer, then we wait not-so-patiently for their amazing day to arrive!”

THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ROSES AND MINT

  1. Our employee of the month has four legs (Sarah’s pup Giorgio), and he won that title every month in 2019. Will we ever stand a chance next to him?? 2020 will tell!
  2. We had the incredible opportunity to flower the Stanley Cup last year. Even though Pantone says 2020 is the year for blue, we’ve been beaming with an extra dose of Blues pride since 2019! (*cue Gloria!)
  3. Our team is full of fun personal love stories. Some are married to their high-school sweetheart, some found love this year, and all of us have the unending support of our friends and family. Roses & Mint would be nothing without them.

Brides, you need people in your corner on your wedding day. Vendors that care. Vendors that love you, and want you to have the BEST day. Vendors you can trust. On top of being UBER talented, the Roses and Mint team will take. Care. Of. You. I’ve personally witnessed it, and will forever be grateful to know and love all the gals at Roses and Mint!

Check out the fabulous R+M work from Taylor and Brandon’s wedding, and Kristin and Joe’s wedding.
