St. Louis Art Museum Wedding – Molly + Tedd

Molly and Tedd’s St. Louis Art Museum wedding was a day full of family, love, and details. This couple loves adventure and their family – and trust me, it showed on this day! Read on to learn more about this couple and their special day.

College Sweethearts

YEARS prior to their St. Louis Art Museum wedding, Molly and Tedd met their freshman year of college at Texas Christian University (TCU). In fact, these two love birds have been together for 10 years! Their first date was so cute – a Mexican restaurant in Fort Worth on Valentine’s Day.

Beach Proposal

Molly’s family grew up going to St. George Island, Florida as a kid. For her mom’s 60th birthday, they rented a house right on the beach to celebrate. Tedd wasn’t originally able to come, but last minute booked a flight. To celebrate the birthday girl, they got dressed up for family pictures. Tedd asked for a picture of the two of them to send to his mom, which Molly’s sister Kaellin so graciously offered to take with her nice camera. Little did Molly know, Tedd was proposing on the beach, while her family and their best friends watched from the balcony. It was the best surprise ever!

In Their Own Words

We love asking our couples to describe their relationship with each other, and what they love most about each other. This is their response, in their own words.

“Tedd and I are best friends, we compliment each other perfectly and strive to make each other a better person. My mom always says it is once in a lifetime that you get to marry your soulmate!

Molly: “Tedd makes me smile on a daily basis, and I strive to make him laugh every day. He is the hardest working and most committed person I know, he puts me, his family and friends above all else.”

Tedd: “Molly is the most thoughtful and caring person, she loves to serve others.”

At Home and Abroad

Molly and Tedd both love to travel. In fact, they’ve been to over 12 different countries together! This couple really loves an adventure, and that definitely includes food and trying new restaurants. But even with their shared love of adventure and excitement, their favorite date night is making pizzas at home and watching a movie. This balance is so sweet – it shows they are perfect for each other, no matter the circumstances.

A True Wedding Weekend

It was clear Molly and Tedd wanted to provide their guests with the ultimate wedding experience. The weekend started with a welcome cocktail party Thursday evening, a rehearsal dinner, followed by an after party Friday evening, and culminated with an epic wedding reception Saturday evening. Dancing under the stars, to a live band, and the Art Museum as a backdrop – it was was truly a weekend to remember.

A Family Affair

At their St. Louis Art Museum wedding, it was clear how important it was to Molly and Tedd for family to be involved and present the entire day. Molly’s bridesmaids were her sister and future sister-in-law. She then had 4 close friends that came along for photos. Molly’s brother was Tedd’s best man. And the head table at the reception was entirely family. It was so special.

Love Conquers All

The whole day really was so special, but we know that butterflies can play a role as well. The nerves were there, but Molly’s nerves immediately subsided as soon as she shared a first look with Tedd. After that, Molly and her dad were all smiles walking down the aisle. It was magical

It’s All In The Details

Molly and Tedd are both very organized, and it showed in every last thoughtful detail. The details were incredible. From the florals to the invitation suite, to even allowing each bridesmaid to choose her own gown, Molly and Tedd’s St. Louis Art Museum wedding was perfectly them. And after all, what more could you ask from a wedding?

Hawaiian Honeymoon

After their St. Louis Art Museum wedding, Molly and Tedd are heading off for a luxurious honeymoon at Four Seasons Lanai AND Maui, Hawaii. After planning a wedding during a pandemic, they deserve the R&R! Thank you, Molly and Tedd, for allowing me to be a part of your love story!
