St. Peter’s Missouri Wedding | Courtney + Daniel

Courtney and Daniel’s St. Peter’s Missouri wedding was a sweet combination of family and tradition. The weather turned out to be so beautiful – which was totally lucky! It was originally supposed to rain all day, and miraculously it did not! Read on to learn more about this loving couple and their wedding day.

First Date

Courtney and Daniel met at a work function. Soon after they met, they had their first date at Mission Taco Joint – yum! They must have hit it off because these two adorable lovebirds have been together for four years!

The Big Question

Prior to their St. Peter’s Missouri wedding, Courtney and Daniel of course had to get engaged! For the big question, Daniel and Courtney headed to Forest Park to have an intimate and romantic picnic. Daniel proposed in front of the pagoda, making some of the couple’s portraits we took such a special memorable experience!

Something Old

Prior to their St. Peter’s Missouri wedding, Courtney and Daniel included their families in a traditional Chinese Tea ceremony. It was a thoughtful way of honoring their family – and Courtney’s grandpa was totally hilarious! In this ceremony, the tradition is to set off firecrackers after each family member receives tea. Courtney’s grandpa had these remote control firecrackers that he would set off each time. He laughed hysterically every time, and it was the cutest thing ever.

Something New

In what I think is a totally inspired choice, Courtney had her hair and makeup gal (Jenn of Flawless Makeup & Hairstyling) stay with her all day. It was SO NICE to have that focused attention on Courtney and made her so confident throughout all the events of this day. (Psst brides, to do this!) Who doesn’t want to feel like a princess on her wedding day?

After their St. Peter’s Missouri wedding, Courtney and Daniel headed off to Hawaii for their honeymoon. I hope you two have the best time, and thank you for choosing me to capture your big day!
