Cierra and Chandler’s Missouri Athletic Club wedding was such a joy to be a part of! We dealt with some weather issues, but you would never know it from the joy these two felt to just get married!

When It Rains, It Pours

True to summer form, we had some rain issues that day. Lucky, we were able to squeeze in all of our portraits prior to any storms. And thankfully, these two chose to have their Missouri Athletic Club wedding (and their sweet first look!) indoors, making the rest of the day totally stress free.

Oh, The Arch

Speaking of those portraits, how cool is this arch backdrop for their wedding party and a few bride and groom shots? It is such an iconic piece of the landscape, and I loved the opportunity to capture it in this way. The portraits of the couple in the downtown area have my heart though – how adorable are these two?

Missouri Athletic Club Wedding

This was such a fun venue to shoot at. The interior of the venue was so glam and luxurious! Cierra and Chandler’s elegant décor was the perfect compliment to the space – and all of it served as a stunning backdrop to their vows and reception.

An Epic Kiss

A couple’s first kiss as two newlyweds is always a fun moment to capture – you never know what is going to happen! And Cierra and Chandler’s Missouri Athletic Club wedding was no exception to this. At the end of the ceremony, as soon as Chandler was told he could kiss his bride, police/ambulance sirens went off just outside the building! Everyone thought that was pretty cool – definitely one of those unforgettable moments!

A Sweet Surprise

The day of the wedding also happened to be Cierra’s little sister’s 12th birthday. These two sweethearts surprised her during the reception with everyone surrounding her and singing happy birthday. It was a very special moment and you could feel the love in the room.

Cierra and Chandler planned a wonderful Missouri Athletic Club wedding (and day!), surrounded by their family and friends. Everything was perfect! Thank you for allowing me to play a role in your day!
